Who we are

Nice to meet you!
We’re Julia and Greg, the duo behind the scenes.

We met in 2016, started dating in 2017, and are still happily building a life (and now a business) together.

Greg is a self-employed carpenter and the hands behind our wood-based pieces. Before working with wood full-time, he began his employment journey as a teenage dish boy at a local restaurant, eventually climbing radio towers for a living, and then spent a year and a half in Australia, where he learned the ropes of woodworking and developed a love for surfing. When he’s not in the workshop, he’s usually gaming, cooking, or dreaming up the next project.

Julia currently works in children’s book publishing and spends most of her spare time seeing friends and family or tending to her plants. She had a short stint working in landscaping—loving every minute of it—until realizing that snow season was quickly approaching… and if you stick around long enough, you’ll soon learn that the cold is not for her. She handles most of the behind-the-scenes work here, along with anything to do with plants or artwork.

Cambium Crafts is a small, intentional business rooted in a love for the great outdoors, natural materials, and the intention of creating beautiful things that last.
